請參考以下的信件內容, 信中所提及的檔案 jdbgmgr.exe 其實是Windows 作業系統本身就有的檔案,不要說一般人, 就算是我也不知道這個檔案是做什麼用的, 然而它一定有它的用途, 砍掉它在短期內或許對你的系統不會有什麼影響, 但也許改天你需要它時, 你就會覺得你的電腦怎麼怪怪的!!
這類惡作劇信件所建議刪掉的檔案, 通常對電腦的影響不會很明顯, 否則你立刻就會發現上當了.而它真正的目的是在於癱瘓網路, 你想想, 一傳十, 十傳百,...., 整個網路就這樣忙碌起來, 降低效率!


Subject: URGENT URGENT Virus

Hello all,

Please check your C drive for this virus that sends itself to all the people
in your address book. It is not an email, it is an exe file and will stay in
your C drive for 14 days before destroying everything apparently. It was on
our computer, sent to us from someone else who had it sent to them. There
are instructions below as to how to get rid of it but please ensure you
delete the file when you find it (do not double click on it) and then delete
all items in your Recycle bin and then send this email on to all the people
in your address books. We understand that the virus stays hidden for 14
days before destroying the operating system.To eliminate the virus you must
do the following :

1)Click on "START" and then click on "FIND"
2)In FIND click on FILES or FOLDERS then write the name of the file
jdbgmgr.exe
3)Make sure you are searching in C DRIVE
4)The virus has an icon like a Grey Teddy Bear
5)DO NOT OPEN IT. DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY.
6)THEN DELETE YOUR RECYCLE BIN, as it is still active in the Recycle Bin.
7)If you find the virus, please send this to all the people in your address
book, before the virus causes any damage.

惡作劇病毒信件之二Sulfnbk.exe

這個郵件的內容和前者大同小異，其聲稱Sulfnbk.exe 是個有毒的檔案，要求你立刻刪除它。
其實這個信件的目的和前者一樣，除了要造成電腦的小毛病，再來就是藉由郵件的發送，造成網路的壅塞，而且已流傳一段時間了。

各位在面對這一類的信件時，不得不小心其消息來源的可靠性。

特別說明一下Sulfnbk.exe的作用
sulfnbk.exe 是負責長、短檔名轉換的工作，對作業系統來講，它並不是絕對必要的一個程式（所以你刪除了它，也不會有任何立即的感覺），但是當需要長檔名轉傳統 8.3 格式的檔名時，就會出問題了。
